Cornmeter is situated in the heart of Godalming town centre, only a few yards from the historic "Pepper Pot" building, and

given our location in Godalming’s historic Church Street.

The Cornmeter building was the site of England’s first Corn Exchange over 480 years ago. It’s had many uses since then including a brewery.  In 1960, it opened as a hardware shop and was purchased as a going concern by us in 1980.  Since that time we have gradually changed the business to make Cornmeter more DIY and Interior Design focused.

 

PARKING: Please be aware that the street parking in Church Street is limited to loading only. Traffic wardrens patrolling the area will ticket any vehicles left unattended.

DELIVERIES: If you need to purchase something from us, but are either unable to come in to Cornmeter, or transport the items back to your home, we have a delivery service available for addresses within a 10 mile radius of our store.
